    Della Fonte Brand History

    Our story begins in Milan in 1969, when Stefano and Liliana Della Fonte opened the family’s first jewellery shop in Via Meravigli, one of the most prestigious streets in the city centre.

    La nostra storia ha inizio a Milano nel 1969, quando Stefano e Liliana Della Fonte aprono la prima oreficeria di famiglia in una delle più prestigiose vie del centro: Via Meravigli.

    In 1992 the second jewellery shop was opened at the heart of Corso Vercelli, which has always been one of the most exclusive and elegant areas of Milan. It was here that Stefano began experimenting with precious stones and decided to introduce a brand new collection of jewellery.
    In 1999, his eldest son Alberto became a certified and joined the family business, bringing innovative ideas and a modern creative flair.


    Nel 1992, viene inaugurata la seconda gioielleria a metà di Corso Vercelli, da sempre una delle zone più esclusive ed eleganti di Milano. È qui che Stefano inizia a sperimentare con le pietre preziose, introducendo così una collezione inedita di gioielli.
    Nel 1999, il primogenito Alberto diventa gemmologo certificato e fa il suo ingresso nell’attività di famiglia portando idee innovative e un moderno estro creativo.

    In 2008, after an experience in the fashion world, his younger brother Federico also began his journey within the company, bringing a wave of fresh creative intuition: the result of a natural inclination cultivated over the years.

    In 2014 Alberto and Federico decide that the time has come for a big change, taking over the business in what will be a true evolution of family’s traditions.

    Nel 2008, dopo un’esperienza nel mondo della moda, anche il fratello minore Federico inizia il suo percorso all’interno dell’azienda portando un’ondata di fresche intuizioni creative, risultato di una naturale inclinazione coltivata negli anni.

    Nel 2014 Alberto e Federico decidono che è giunto il momento di un grande cambiamento, rilevando l’attività in quello che sarà una vera e propria metamorfosi della tradizione.
